Mitsuwa Marketplace is easily one of the best Japanese markets in the area. The selection is incredible, with a huge variety of Japanese groceries, snacks, drinks, fresh foods, household items, and specialty products that can be hard to find anywhere else. The food court is also fantastic and honestly worth the trip on its own. There are so many great options, and the whole market has a really enjoyable atmosphere that makes it fun to walk around and explore even when you don't have anything specific you need to buy. The store is always very clean, well organized, and the renovations have made it feel even nicer. There is also a huge parking lot, so getting in and out is usually very easy. An absolutely amazing market and one of those places I can keep coming back to without getting tired of it. Highly recommend.

Wow. I found myself in Arlington Heights, and my buddy suggested this place due to an upcoming trip to Japan in 2027. It's a Japanese market that features an amazing food court (and this is where I spent all my time.) I don't recall the name of the stall I purchased from. But I can tell you it was quick, not expensive and very filling. I had a bowl with beef and noodles; for dessert I hit the matcha dessert stall for some matcha and vanilla ice cream. The whole place meal me feel like I was dining outside the state of Illinois. The service from everyone in the market was very friendly and they even had a sake/soju tasting by the front door (and the vendors allowed you try was much as you wanted.) I highly recommend this spot

The store is clean and offers a wide array of Japanese products. Including a bookstore stationary section, there are also a food court in the store. The staff was friendly.The products are fresh and the prices are competitive. But they lack social responsibility and do not accept food, chair. E b I t** cards and they do not give food area food.Pantries, that's the reason for the low rating bear that in mind.If you decide to make purchases at this store

Visited the marketplace on the weekend. The grocery selection is huge and prices are reasonable. I bought roll cakes and drinks, which were tasty. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to shop for Japanese treats.
